Every year, the Circular Award from Swiss Recycle honours innovative solutions in the areas of recycling and the circular economy. This year, our cement-free concrete, based on processed demolition materials and Oxara’s Oxacrete Oulesse binder, won over the jury against 20 other projects.
Regardless of who wins the award, the nomination shows that sustainable building counts – and that we are on the right track with KIBECO Cleancrete Oulesse. Our cement-free concrete, KIBECO Cleancrete Oulesse, cuts down considerably on CO2 emissions while retaining high technical performance. The binder consists of ground rubble and mineral salts. Climate-friendly construction without cement actively contributes to achieving the climate targets under SIA 390/1:2025 for net zero emissions in the building sector and promotes the circular economy by reusing demolition materials.
