KIBECO celebrated a prèmiere together with the Zurich public transport authority at the track construction site at Römerhofplatz in Zurich. For the first time, KIBECO building materials were used to lay track.

KIBECO and Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich (VBZ) celebrated a special prèmiere at the third stage of the track construction site at Römerhofplatz in Zurich: for the first time, KIBECO building materials were used for a track conversion.
Around 100 m³ of KIBECO gravel mixture was used for the construction work. CO₂-mineralised recycled aggregates enabled a quantity of CO₂ to be stored permanently, roughly equivalent to the emissions of an average passenger car over a distance of 14,000 kilometres.
